All About Worship Retreat is a place where worship leaders can come together for a time of spiritual renewal, building genuine friendships and engaging in intimate worship sessions led by notable worship leaders.
All About Worship Retreat 2010 will take place May 20 - 22 at Grace Church in Overland Park, KS.
Engage in worship, prayer, and authentic conversations in an intimate setting with fellow worship leaders and artists like Tommy Walker, Jared Anderson, Darrell Evans, Michael Farren, Dwayne Moore, and many others.

WHO:
This retreat is specifically designed for worship leaders, pastors, artists, worship teams, technical and media teams, and songwriters.
WHAT:
What makes this retreat unique from other worship conferences is the atmosphere that allows for real, authentic relationships to foster. AAW Retreat is a heart-focused retreat for those involved in worship ministry. If you are feeling lonely, worn out, or discouraged in ministry, we especially want to extend our invitation to you. Come and be refreshed in God's presence and get connected with other worship leaders on a personal level.
You will not see a lot of hype and flashing lights at the All About Worship Retreat. You will experience simplicity and authenticity throughout your stay. With acousticallly led worship by Jared Anderson, Tommy Walker, Darrell Evans, Michael Farren, and others - we believe that God wants to use this retreat in a special way to encourage you and speak to you.
Space is limited to the first 65 people that register. The first 20 registrants will receive Dwayne Moore's heart-focused Bible Study "Pure Praise", just for signing up. We are also giving away a scholarship to the National Worship Leader Conference (around $400 value). You must register for our retreat by March 1st to be entered into this drawing. One name will be randomly chosen and announced on the All About Worship Podcast in March.

Jared Anderson (www.JaredAnderson.com)
Jared is the writer of such worship songs used in churches globally as "Rescue", "Hear Us From Heaven", and "Amazed". He is known for his key role with Desperation Band and New Life Church.
He is also the force behind two critically-acclaimed solo projects, 2006's Where To Begin and 2008's Where Faith Comes From, both of which infused Anderson's worshipful lyrics with pop sensibility. His third solo project, Live From My Church, was released in 2009 - a live recording that took place at New Life Church in Colorado Springs.
Tommy Walker (www.TommyWalker.net)
Tommy has led worship at Christian Assembly in Los Angeles, California with his pastor, Mark Pickerill, since 1990. He has traveled with Promise Keepers, Greg Laurie Harvest Crusades, and Franklin Graham. He has also been privileged to serve with such church leaders as Jack Hayford, Bill Hybels, and Rick Warren. He has recorded worship projects for Maranatha! Music, Integrity Music, and Get Down Ministries.
He has written over 100 songs that are currently being tracked by CCLI and are being sung in churches around the world, including "He Knows My Name, Only A God Like You, That's Why We Praise Him", "Lord I Believe In You", "Mourning Into Dancing, Break Through", "We Will Remember", and "I Have a Hope".
For the last decade, Tommy has traveled internationally holding worship events and mercy ministry outreaches in places where people are in great need. He has led his worship team to the Philippines, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Guatemala, Zambia and Brazil.
Tommy has been married to his wife, Robin, for over twenty years. They have four children, Jake, Levi, Emmie and Eileen. To be found faithful to His God, his family and his local church will always be his greatest achievement.

Troy is presently the Pastor of Worship Arts at Westside Family Church, a dynamic multi-campus church located in western Kansas City. He was called to be a lead worshiper under the tutelage of songwriter/lead worshiper Tommy Walker at Christian Assembly Church in Eagle Rock, California where he served for several years. Eventually Troy was called to serve at Saddleback Community Church, as a staff worship leader under Pastor Rick Muchow. He is also a nationally recognized songwriter for worship, conference speaker/teacher and worship leader.
He and his wife Gwen have a passion to see people grow in intimacy and maturity with God, specifically, through worship and prayer. He has spent the last 20 years as a lead worshiper, professional studio and touring singer, and songwriter. His influence as a worship leader and songwriter has been heard internationally through his ministries at Saddleback, Westside, and NewWorship.com.

Mike is a worship leader, pastor, and songwriter, He has written songs like: "A Thousand Tongues", "Kingdom Come", and "Generation Holy". He has traveled extensively leading worship, preaching, and training other worship ministries. Spirit-led and highly congregational, many of Mikes songs are being sung throughout the world.
In 2008 Mike launched Generation Holy Ministries to continue to carry his vision for ministry: to empower and equip all generations through worship and life-transforming truth. He and his wife Iris currently reside in Manchester, CT where he also serves as worship pastor at Church of the Living God.

Rich currently serves as the worship pastor at Sunridge Community Church in Temecula, California. Over 20 years as a professional musician and creative leader, Rich has worked as an associate pastor, division manager, church planter, communications director and worship leader at various churches--from small churches to mega-sized.
As a leader, his bent is to influence fellow creatives and leaders - to help them think strategically with conversations that clarify values, theology and method such as his blog series titled "Worship Mythbusters". Whether it's leading worship ministry, creative volunteers or implementing social media in a ministry setting, Rich brings his unique experience and knack for conversation to the table in blogging, speaking or coaching.

Joanna is a singer, songwriter, worship leader, web designer, and photographer. She's been involved at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City for over 7 years serving in various ministries, including leading worship in the prayer room.
She has also worked with Lou Engle and TheCall, Shawn Bolz, Melody Green and others. Joanna's desire is to see believers walk in true apostolic Christianity evidenced by a lifestyle of community fellowship, accountability, and happy holiness centered around high Christology and authentic love for Jesus.

Fred is the Worship Director at St. Simons Community Church on St. Simons Island, GA. He is happily married to his wife, Joy, and they have four children. He loves to mentor and train up worship leaders. He is also a songwriter and producer and owns his own production company, Highest Praise Productions.
Fred is the founder of TheWorshipCommunity.com, a popular resource for worship leaders, techs, artists, musicians, pastors, and singers. He enjoys blogging and networking with people through technology like Twitter and Facebook. Fred is a regular speaker and instructor for National Worship Leader Conference and Worship Leader Magazine's Online Training Courses.

Dwayne is best known as an author and 30-year veteran worship leader and teacher. His book, "Pure Praise: A Heart-focused Bible Study on Worship", was released internationally by Group Publishing, Inc. in December 2008. "Pure Praise" has been endorsed by Mark Hall of Casting Crowns, Darlene Zschech of Hillsong Church, Sally Morgenthaler, author of Worship Evangelism, and many more.
Dwayne is a frequent contributor of worship articles to Rick Warrens Ministry Toolbox. He is an instructor for Worship Leader Magazines Online Training Courses. He was a speaker at the 2008 National Worship Leader Conference. He has appeared on such national TV talkshows as Canadas 100 Huntley Street. He has appeared on Moody Radios Prime Time America and been interviewed on several Moody Radio affiliates. He has appeared on American Family Radios live show, Todays Issues with Tim Wildmon. Most importantly, Dwayne is a Christian who loves God and his family more than life itself. He lives with his beautiful wife and two young boys near Birmingham, AL.

Best known as the writer of songs like "Trading my Sorrows", "Let the River Flow", "Your Love is Extravagant", and "Freedom", Darrell is considered by many to be a pioneer in the modern worship music movement.
For the past 12 years Darrell has traveled the world ministering the gospel through worship, preaching, and prayer. His authenticity, genuine spirit and passion have connected with many as he ministers worship to the Lord. Darrell has seen numerous people come to know Christ and has encouraged many others to a deeper walk with God. People are healed, refreshed, and renewed through Darrell's ministry.
Darrell's projects Let the River Flow and Freedom both garnered Dove award nominations and influenced a new wave of congregational worship. His newest project, Nothing Less Than Everything, wraps his joy, passion and experience in a fresh and powerful sound.

Pocket Full of Rocks
Dove Award-nominated worship group Pocket Full of Rocks first made a splash on the Christian music scene with their hit songs, Let It Rain, and Let the Worshippers Arise, found on Michael W. Smiths platinum-certified Worship album, and Phillips, Craig and Deans recent release, respectively.
The group later released their debut commercial project, Song to the King, in 2006 to critical acclaim, followed by their sophomore album, Manifesto, in 2007. The band recently finished work on their third studio album produced by Ed Cash titled, More Than Noise which will release in March 2010, and will include the hit song, "Let It Rain."
